Hajj Balloting

Hajj balloting for 2022 was held at the Asia Poultry Feeds Head Office in Lahore. The employees from all Units and Offices were inculded in the balloting based on the criteria that they have served the organzation for a minimum period of 5 years. Members of top management also witnessed the balloting and expressed their immense appreciation and gratitude to the company for commencing this holy cause. .

Asia Poultry Feeds has held Hajj Balloting for the year 2023 at Head Office, Lahore where top management also witnessed the memorable event where employees from all Units and Offices were included in the balloting based on the criteria that they have served the organization for a minimum period of 5 years. All the senior members took part in balloting have also extended their thankfulness and gratitude to the company for commencing this righteous cause.

5th SPORTS GALA-2023

Asia Poultry Feeds Pvt. Ltd. organizes the sports gala each year to promote the concept of team building and strong bonding among employees. In this context, company has planned and executed 5th Sports Gala for its employees to have fun among each other and also provided them with mental-health break which ultimately increases productivity inside the office and creates an environment of synergy between teams from different departments. Having this concept in mind Asia Poultry Feeds Pvt Ltd. organized “Sports Gala” in October 2023 in which 14 teams participated from units across Pakistan including head office. This year, on 20-21 October,2023 Asia Poultry Feeds kept its legacy and also included Tug of War and Sack Race which made this event more memorable and enjoyable. It was a great and pronounced event in which Sack Race 1st position was taken by Mirza Bashir (Alpha Panthers), 2nd position was bagged by M.Wasim (Asia Leopards) and 3rd position was also secured by Muhammad Ahmad of Asia Leopards. In Tug of War Indus Stars outplayed Delta Gladiators and won the Title. Asia Kings outplayed Asia Superiors and won the cricket competition title.

The opening ceremony started off with “National Anthem” and CEO/Director wished all the teams captain good luck for the tournament. At the end of day two of 5TH Sports Gala-2023, they also gave away prizes and trophy to the winning teams and top performers. They also appreciated the enthusiasm of all teams, players, viewers and congratulated the winning teams in each sport. The employees of the company along with their families, participated in all the matches to enjoy and cheer up their players with fervor and passion, which made Asia Sports Gala-2023 a huge success.

Photo Contest 2023

Photography is a vision and art. Regardless of your skill level, capturing images is important for history and people’s lives and keeps you refresh. This year in 2023 Asia Poultry Feeds has also rewarded successful winners for the photo contests held in 2022 and 2023 and acknowledged their participation with enthusiasm and fervor. "If you can see it, you can shoot it ." “Great photography is about depth of feeling, not depth of field.” The contest has 3 categories i.e. Historical Places, Architecture and Buildings along with Art and Culture. All the winning photos were worth assessing and accurate as per given guidelines regarding category that it easily engaged the panel of judges. The adjudicators had a very tough time deciding the most plausible photos for final selection. Every shot taken, was so much confined and revealed hidden reality behind every picture. It almost took the contest judges to the exact location of the scene of photography.

Furthermore, training and development is solely based on training need assessment conducted by Head of the Departments and especially focused on identifying and improving the ability of individuals. Below are few glimpses from our internal and external trainings held at different profound training institutes through year 2021 till 2023.

Health and Safety

The Medical Camps at Asia Poultry Feeds has set new standards of health in the industry as health is being considered the most concerning part for all. Every organization is required to have healthy work force which ultimately leads to more productivity. Keeping this aspect in view Asia Poultry Feeds Pvt. Ltd. is providing basic general check-up by carrying out the Medical Camps at Units and Offices which also helps people to be aware of their health status. Safety of employees is also very essential part for all organizations to make employees feel safer at work place and referring to this Asia Poultry Feeds Pvt. Ltd. has organized fire-fighting trainings across the units and offices as well. Fire Safety Trainings also provides employees with the knowledge they need to prevent a fire from occurring as well as how to react to a fire and employees who attends these specialized fire safety training courses learn skills that they will be able to use for the rest of their lives and also gets knowledge about how to recognize potential hazards, how to evacuate in an emergency and how to use firefighting equipment like extinguishers. Therefore, Asia Poultry Feeds keenly focuses and ensures health and safety of its employees at all times.

In this context, Mr. Muhammad Muhsin (Electrical Foreman) in our Hatchery Division was awarded with an appreciation shield for his hard work, proactive and diligent approach towards his job and most importantly exceptional commitment to the overall success of his department.

Asia Poultry Feeds also organizes formal ceremonies for retirees and also recognizes the services of outgoing employees and conduct farewell ceremonials as a token of appreciation. Keeping in view the same spirit farewell ceremony of Zahoor Ahmed-Turner held at Unit-I and that is how employee also feels honored about what they have accomplished during their career with the company.

Long Service Awards

Long Service Awards” is an effective way of showing employees that they are recognized and valued. We also believe that long service recognition awards are also key to ensuring staff feel a sense of belonging and satisfaction in their organization. This, along with our other recognition programs determines our company's success and overall organizational excellence. Corporate Social Responsibility

“Corporate Social Responsibility” is an effective way for organizations to give back to society. In this context Asia Poultry Feeds always take appropriate measures to make a concerted effort to operate in ways that enhance environment along with social aspects making a positive impact on society Recently, Asia Poultry Feeds sponsored a group of students from Ghulam Ishaq Khan (Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology) who intended to participate in SUAS (Student Unmanned Aerial Systems) competition. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐔𝐕𝐒𝐈 𝐒𝐔𝐀𝐒 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝, 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 in the month of June-2023. The team 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝟕𝟐 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝𝐰𝐢𝐝𝐞, including India, Hong Kong, the UK, the USA, Mexico, Pakistan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Norway, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Canada, and Thailand. The AUVSI SUAS also has a legacy of 20 years for holding up this event every year where students from various engineering universities participates and present their exceptional skills through building up unmanned aerial systems. During SUAS-2023, where total of 72 teams participated the “Team Swift” which was sponsored by Asia Poultry Feeds outshines other teams and won a “Dawn Jaeger Tenacity Award” which was a moment of proud for both the country and organization as well. Recreational Trips

“Recreational activities” are anything done for a break, leisure or fun that helps employees relax, reduce stress and improve concentration along with giving them a chance to socializing with their colleagues as well as help improving employees' productivity. The benefits of recreation trips also affect all aspects of life which helps improving physical well-being, emotional health and cognitive functioning. Not only does a balance of work and recreation improve our physical and mental health, but it also positively influences our occupational, emotional, and social health as well. Recreation, especially in nature helps our brains relax and stimulates us cognitively, which results in greater productivity at work As mentioned, recreational trips which keeps the team motivated in their daily routine and makes them at ease in handling and boost the working environment. Our marketing teams of Chenab and Delta visited Hunza, Astore and Skardu in the year 2022 whereas in 2023 they have visited Khanaspur and NathiaGali where they enjoyed as a team to the maximum and also being able to witnessed the most amazing places of interest in the country along with memories that they gathered back home. Likewise, our other Asia and Alpha Chicks marketing teams have visited Babusar Top, Shighar Fort, Manthoka and Skardu in the year 2022 followed by another trip of Asia Marketing to Shogran Valley-Siri Paye and Nathiagali in 2023 where they have observed and captured mesmerizing moments on their way back to home. Marketing team of Indus Cattle Feed has also arranged a memorable trip and visited Azad Kashmir-Muzaffarabad, Neelum Valley, Keran, Sharda and Taubat in June 2023. By looking at below glimpses one can easily conclude that up to what level our marketing teams have enjoyed and had an unforgettable time together with more positive energy and enthusiasm. Productivity is directly proportionate to work environment and that could easily be achievable by engaging existing teams through interaction and providing them with a different platform which differentiates from their daily routine Therefore, Asia Poultry Feeds being employee caring organization promotes team building culture by providing recreational trips to its marketing teams and making them more vitalized for achieving the desired results. .
